Yas Kim, Bye Taylor

It’s been two weeks since my last post. With all of the Black Lives Matter protests, hate crimes, and terrorism going on, I really didn’t feel like it was appropriate to blog about celebrities. I also didn’t want this blog to become a political nightmare filled with my frustrations, so alas, I waited. I waited for the perfect inspiration, and now I have it.

Let’s get it!

Hot Mess #1: Taylor Swift for being a fraud

Last night, I watched the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Per usual, it was reality trash at its finest.

A large theme throughout the show was how the media vilified Kanye West after the release of his song “Famous” and its music video. In the song, Kanye says “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous,”  referencing the 2009 Taylor Swift drama at the VMAs.

After the song’s release, Taylor acted ultra offended by both the lyrics and video. Luckily, we have Kim Kardashian to set the story straight. Kim stood by her man, claiming that she had recorded evidence that proved Taylor was actually aware of the song all along.

Sadly, I went straight to bed right after Keeping Up and missed the gloriousness that was Kim K.’s Snapchat. Apparently, Kim snapped several clips of Kanye talking to Taylor Swift about his song and ultimately getting her approval….Smdh

Read the full story here –> Kimye Feuds With Taylor Swift

According to TMZ, Taylor is now considering taking legal action against Kimye for the leaked video (it’s illegal to record someone in the state of California without their permission). Personally, I hope Taylor doesn’t take legal action. Legal action won’t solve anything, just make her look even worse…

Tumblr Posts That Sum Up The Kimye Taylor Swift Feud

Hot Mess #2: Tom Hiddleston for dating Taylor Swift

Let me just say that I LOVE Tom Hiddleston, but I feel like he’s depreciating in value the longer he dates Swift. Before, he was this tall, mysterious Brit. Now, he’s just another one of Taylor’s boy toys…

I’m not sure if he’s being considered for the new James Bond role or not, but if he is, he should bail on Taylor’s messiness soon. He can also burn that t-shirt from July 4th. #gross

Hot Mess #3: Wendy Williams for her comments about HBCUs

Last week, Wendy Williams received major backlash when she denounced historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and the NAACP on her daytime talkshow. Like, who does that?

Anyways…Due to her comments, Wendy lost Chevrolet as a major sponsor and had to invite TV One journalist, Roland Martin, to her show for some serious damage control.

Read the full story here –> Wendy Williams Faces Tough Critic

I love Wendy for her big mouth and sometimes childish viewpoints, but hopefully she has learned to be a little smarter.

Stick to stories about Kimye, Wendy. Leave racial issues to the real journalists…

Hot Mess #4: Stephen Colbert for hijacking the podium at the RNC

There’s no question that the funniest story today is the Kimye vs. Taylor Swift feud, but Stephen Colbert also provided some much needed entertainment when he crashed the Republican National Convention. Dressed in a Hunger Games inspired costume, Colbert announced, “[Donald Trump] has formed an alliance with Indiana Governor Mike Pence. It is my honor to hereby launch and begin the 2016 Republican hungry for power games.”

Watch the video here –> Colbert at RNC

Whether you found Colbert’s joke funny or not, you have to admit that it was pretty ballsy…

Honestly, I just want to say that I am so grateful for the messiness this past week. Things have been a little too heavy and I’m glad that we have something funny in the media again. Thank you, Kimye. Thank you.

Surpriiise, America! Trump’s An Idiot

This past weekend, it was Pride in New York City. Seeing all of the rainbows and free spirits was definitely a reminder that hate will never be greater than love. At least not always….Let’s get it.

1) Donald Trump for truly being an absolute clueless idiot

Last week, the world was shocked by the UK’s decision to leave the European Union. Though many believed the decision to be both a poor and unnecessary one, there was one person (*cough…cough…Donald Trump*) who applauded the UK, in particular Scotland, for taking its country back. Problem is Trump failed to realize that the Scots voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU. In fact, they are now looking into becoming independent from the Brits, who ultimately voted to leave.
Now, everyone knows that Trump’s politics are rather questionable, but he could at least read about current events…I mean, it really isn’t that hard to read a newspaper. At least Twitter called him out on his blatant stupidity.

People Are Dragging Donald Trump On Twitter

2) The UK for proving that the world is still a hot racist mess

Everyone knows that America has its backwards-thinking moments. The media does enough to emphasize that around the world. However, it’s always sad when it’s clear that the same racism exists elsewhere.

Many believe that Britain’s movement to leave the EU a.k.a Brexit was successful because of the country’s older population. A number of Brits are concerned about the immigration laws affecting their country and simply wanted to keep the Muslims out.

Now, this discussion definitely deserves a paper or two, but we don’t have the space for that on this blog. However, it’s clear that xenophobia and racism are going to always play a major role in political decisions around the world. Gosh, I still fear for the U.S. elections….

3) America for just being a mess

After the Orlando shootings, the topic of gun control laws surfaced again in the U.S. Things have gotten so tense in Congress that sit-ins and yelling have become the recent norms.

Senate Rejects Series of Gun Measures

I won’t spend too much time on this topic because honestly it annoys the hell out of me. If Congress can’t agree on laws after Sandy Hook, then I’m not sure that they’ll agree after Orlando either.

Again, though today’s post has been about politics, I tend to stay out of the mess. However, I’ll always maintain that no one needs an automatic weapon for either their personal safety or for their exercise of an “American right.”

At least Jim Jeffries and Australians get it…

Sorry Curry

Happy Monday! I hope everyone is relieved that they survived another day of corporate America. And if you’re FUN-employed or living a random life, more power to you.

Today’s post is going to be pretty short as there wasn’t much that moved me this week, so let’s get it!

Hot Mess # 1: Golden State for losing the NBA Finals

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors

Last night was a big night for television. Not only did you have an awesome episode of Game of Thrones, but you also had Game 7 of the NBA Finals, featuring  Lebron James and Steph Curry.

Now, Game 7 is always pretty exciting, but yesterday’s game marked an historical (yes, I used that word) achievement by King James’ Cleveland Cavaliers. After having been down 3-1 in the series, the Cavaliers put up a huge fight at Oracle Arena to win the entire championship. Not only did they overcome the odds of the series, but the Cavaliers also rose above the adversity of this last year, even switching coaches mid-season.

Personally, I could care less about the Cavaliers or the Golden State Warriors, but the loss is definitely a tough one for the Warriors…

Hot Mess #2: Stephen A. Smith for his comments about Ayesha Curry

Since I’m already discussing basketball, I may as well write about this idiot, Stephen Smith…

In case you missed it, Steph Curry’s wife, Ayesha, received some negative attention (particularly from men) for tweeting that the NBA was “rigged” during Game 6 of the finals. Everyone under the sun, including Stephen, thought that Ayesha’s controversial tweet was an excuse to speak out about what makes a good NBA wife…

Read here: Stephen A. Smith Mansplains

See, this is why I could not be an NBA wife. Having some man tell me what I can and cannot say or how I should and should not act is not okay. Should Ayesha have tweeted what she did? Probably not…Did it call for commentary from the American male population? Absolutely not.

p.s. Why is her tweet even news?

p.s.s. Ayesha should probably avoid social media during high stress situations for her husband. She’s a public figure now, and she knows the world is watching. Do better girl…

Ayesha Curry Roasted On Twitter
Anyways, for the rest of this post, let me just share some of the best NBA memes. See below:

Gosh, I love the Internet. 🙂

Pray For The Grimmies and Orlando

Without question, this weekend taught us just how fragile life can truly be. In a matter of moments, it can be taken away from us forever.

For today’s post, I won’t list who I think has been the most hot mess. Instead, I will simply reflect on the unfathomable events of this past weekend. Let’s begin…
I’ve followed YouTube star, Christina Grimmie, for years. She was a high school student with a dope haircut and voice of an angel. Over time, Christina’s voice would gain her millions of followers on YouTube and a top spot on NBC’s The Voice.

After placing third on The Voice, Christina continued to pursue her love for music, touring all over the country. Then, her dream abruptly came to an end this weekend when an unknown gunman, now identified as Kevin Loibl, approached the singer after a concert and opened fire.

To say that Christina’s death is an absolute tragedy would be an understatement. The thought of some random twenty-something (in this case Kevin) traveling 100 miles just to kill someone is beyond baffling. It’s also a cruel reminder of the world we live in and that no one is safe. If someone can do this to Christina Grimmie, then someone can do this to any of us…which brings me to the other tragedy at an Orlando gay nightclub where at least 50 people were shot dead….

Again, I try to stay away from the politics, but there’s no reason why anyone in this country should be able to pack multiple guns, rounds, and a knives without being tracked for life. Something’s got to give and I’m sorry, but this isn’t 1776. We live in a different time where murders are happening due to the accessibility of guns.

In addition to guns, we also need to do something to address mental health and hatred as well… We can blame the lack of gun control laws all we want to, but at the end of the day, it takes a certain mind to pull the trigger.. Orlando Gunman

To avoid getting upset any further, I’ll simply say R.I.P. Christina Grimmie and everyone else who lost their lives this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families. #stayblessedstaysafe

A Dead Mac and Bernie

Where should I begin?…Let’s start with the fact that my Mac decided to die on me and I’m currently blogging through the Word Press app on my phone. Then, let’s discuss how I wrote an entire post before this one and accidentally deleted it….😭

I was THIS close to calling it a night, but I realized that I declared my dedication two weeks ago, so let’s get it!

Hot Mess #1: Father of Brock Turner for being insensitive

The Stanford University rape case has been all over the news. For those of you who are completely clueless, Brock Turner, a former star swimmer at Stanford, was charged for sexually assaulting an unconscious female student. After hearing about Brock receiving only 6 months in the jailhouse, people grew furious over the “leniency” of Brock’s sentence.

What’s making matters worse is Brock’s father’s letter. In the letter, Dan Turner asks the court for leniency, stating that his son’s life should not be ruined for “20 minutes of action.” Pause.

YES, pause to the Pause. This fool REALLY put that in a letter. Read here: Brock Turner’s father sparks outrage

Sigh, I wish I was making this up, but apparently some people don’t take rape seriously… Not to mention, how disturbing is it that this is Dan’s reaction to his son raping a woman behind a dumpster on campus? #Amess

Side note: Just like Cosby, something looks off with Brock (pictured above). It’s all in the eyes people…all in the eyes…

Hot Mess #2: Kanye West for causing a “riot”

Yesterday, festivalgoers were noticeably annoyed on Twitter after Governors Ball was canceled due to severe weather conditions. The most popular complaint was the fact that people would be missing their opportunity to see Kanye West perform.

In what I’ll call an attempt to cheer his fans up, Kanye tweeted “Show at 2 a.m. SOLD OUT.” The tweet had fans going crazy over what they thought would be a surprise concert at Webster Hall nightclub in Manhattan.

Needless to say, Kanye West did not have a surprise concert. Instead, he drove by the massive crowd that had gathered outside of Webster Hall, allegedly causing one crazy roller coaster of fandom.

Although Kanye could have had the best intentions, his tweet led to loads of trash, damaged property, and even 1 arrest. Whoops…

And like a tweet in the night, Kanye was gone
Side note: Where is Saint West?…He’s like the most mysteriously MIA baby in the world. Lol

Hot Mess #3: Miss USA’s haters for hating

Last night, Miss DC, Deshauna Barber, was crowned Miss USA 2016. Even though Barber won the pageant fair and square, fans of the runner up, Miss Hawaii, are claiming that their girl was robbed.

Now, I will always be fair. During the question portion of the competition, Miss Hawaii was given a very suspect question that asked her to state who she would be voting for president. Although I understand the outrage with such a question, I do think people need to stop acting brand new. Every year, there’s a controversial question and I’ve seen pageant girls burned alive for their answers. I mean, remember when that one girl was asked about her beliefs around gay marriage? Yeah…

Anyways, Hawaii answered the question gracefully, just not as well as DC answered hers. AND, to be even more fair, the last three contestants were all asked the same final question, which again resulted in DC giving the most eloquent answer. So, let’s stop the hateration and give Barber her props.

Army officer crowned Miss USA 2016
p.s. Let’s be honest. Miss Hawaii is tall and “classically” beautiful – whatever that means. People don’t think Barber can win Miss Universe most likely for her skin color (girl is chocolate). But, I know Barber will bring it. *snaps twice*

Hot Mess #4: Bernie Sanders for still feeling the bern

Now, I’m not really one to get political, but I’m so tired of this crappy election and my Miss USA commentary reminded me of that. None of the candidates excite me, and as far as I’m concerned, the one that drags out this tortuous election process the longest will forever be on my bad side. In this case, it’s Mr. Sanders.#sorryimnotsorry #notfeelingthebernthehillorthetrump #amess

Okay, my random rant is over… Lol

It’s Not Looking Good For The Men

It’s been a rough week for the men of Hollywood….Let’s get it.

Hot Mess #1: Mark Salling for child pornography charges

When I first heard the reports about the Glee star months ago, I couldn’t believe it. In fact, I was in such disbelief that I almost forgot all about the child pornography allegations. Then, last week happened.

According to CNN and other media outlets, Salling has officially been indicted on charges of “receiving and possessing child pornography.” Apparently, Salling’s laptop, which was confiscated in December, contained thousands of inappropriate images…

Honestly, I always thought there was something about Salling. Sure, he’s talented, but his eyes said that there may be something slightly “off” about the actor…With that said, I never thought it would be this…#Gross.

Glee Actor Indicted For Child Porn

Hot Mess #2: Bill Cosby for just being a mess.

Sometimes people make this list just for being an absolute mess, and in this case, it’s Cosby. For the last year, we have been talking about the rape allegations made against the comedian, and things aren’t getting any better…

As Cosby waits for his trial for sexual assault charges in Philly, more reports are surfacing about his misconduct with women. Not only is Cosby being accused of sexually assaulting anywhere between 50 to 60 women, but he’s also confessed to sleeping with teenage girls.

Bill Cosby admits to shocking behavior with teen girls

Sigh…Some of us just want to watch The Cosby Show in peace without all of the nonsense, but how can you ignore such a disturbing mess?

Side note: The older Cosby gets, the more he looks like an abuser… Harsh, but true.

Hot Mess #3: Johnny Depp for marrying Amber Heard

Despite my description, this really isn’t a dig against Amber Heard. All I’m saying is that Johnny’s physical appearance started going downhill after dating the actress and now he’s accused of domestic violence.

Since domestic violence is always a touchy subject and sometimes a matter of “he said, she said,” I won’t say much about the allegations. It’s just a mess that now Johnny and Amber are in a nasty divorce battle and with no prenup for guidance…

What I will say, however, is that I think Amber’s ask for spousal support is a little ridiculous (prenup or not). I think these two just need to go their separate ways and let the bad press subside.

p.s. Depp’s latest project, Alice Through The Looking Glass, bombed at the box office this weekend. Seeing as though the first Alice in Wonderland wasn’t the best flick, I don’t know if we can blame Depp for the bad ticket sales, but I’m sure it didn’t help…

Purple Tears Purple Tears

It’s been a loooong time since I’ve written a “Hot Mess Monday” post, but I think it’s time to bring this sucker back to life. With everything that’s been going on, there’s just too much happening for me to keep mum any longer. Starting today, I’ll be back to posting the top hot mess folks for the week. Let’s get it!

Hot Mess #1: Madonna for last night’s Prince tribute

Honestly, I’m not sure whether to label Madonna as a hot mess or the Billboard Music Awards. Although Madonna completely butchered “Nothing Compares 2 U” and “Purple Rain,” it’s really Billboard’s fault for even letting her perform. Like, who thinks of Prince and goes, “Yes! Yes, I want to hear Madonna’s cover!”

Answer: Nobody

Not only did Madonna flop on stage, but she also took our dearly beloved with her. Poor Stevie. At least he can’t see the shade BET threw this AM….BET Throws Shade…I know Prince is crying purple tears from heaven.

p.s. Madonna’s purple suit was cute.

Hot Mess #2: Kanye West for another rant

Last week, Kanye made another appearance on Ellen, which quickly turned into a very “real” moment. When asked how he wanted to help the world, Mr. West took the opportunity to turn the entire interview into a “discussion” about his fashion line, corporations, and glass ceilings. Even though Kanye’s comments were valid, his delivery was completely off…

I’m sure Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner are pulling out their hair…Then again, any publicity is good publicity for the Kardashian-West clan, so maybe they are actually just laughing all the way to the bank. #coints

Side note: Despite his rant, Kanye proved to be in good spirits for the rest of the show. Watching him play Ellen’s 5 Second Rule is pure gold.

5 Second Rule with Kanye West

Hot mess #3: Tamar Braxton for allegedly being fired from The Real

I’m not entirely sure what’s going on with Tamar’s departure from the hit daytime talk show, but I am so mad she’s leaving. Although Tamar is a little bit of a ratch, her storytelling was hilarious and it was nice to see her sisters and mother make occasional appearances.

According to more recent reports, it sounds like Tamar had a strained relationship with producers, and that’s what ultimately led to her exit…

Le sigh…Why is it always the most entertaining people who get the boot?

Well, at least I have my other girls (Tamera, Loni, Jeanie, and Adrienne) to look forward to. #amess

Oscar Edition: Jared Leto Is Flawless

I didn’t think it was possible, but I finally watched an Academy Awards that did not upset me. As I watched last night, I was both amused by Ellen’s familiarity with the celebrity audience and moved by the most touching acceptance speeches. Actually, I was so happy with most of the awards last night that I  worried about not having anything to write about this morning. Fortunately for me, I can always spot the hot mess in any and everything.

Let’s get it!

1) The Academy for thinking that Disney’s Frozen deserved a Best Original Song Oscar.

I’m sure that I was not the only one rooting for Pharell’s “Happy” to take home the trophy.

Pharell’s performance of the hit song from Despicable Me 2 had everyone dancing out of their chairs. It’s just too bad that Academy voters thought Frozen‘s “Let It Go” was better….

Now, don’t get me wrong. I am a crazy Disney fan, having watched every Disney animated musical. However, Frozen was neither that great of a film (yeah, I said it) nor that great of a musical. As posted before, the songs in the movie were absolutely basic. I didn’t even like “Let It Go” until I heard a couple of covers on Youtube.

p.s. If you disagree with me on this one, I would encourage you to revisit the Disney classics of the 1990s and early 2000s. Then, let me know if you still think Frozen is the “best movie since The Lion King.”

2) John Travolta for butchering Idina Menzel‘s name.

When I listened to John Travolta introduce Idina Menzel, I thought that he got her name wrong. However, I didn’t realize just how wrong he got it until this morning. I don’t know what Travolta was thinking when he introduced the broadway star as “Adele Dazeem.”

Watch the clip here —>

At least Idina gave a breathtaking performance after that one…

3) Jennifer Lawrence for tripping at the Academy Awards AGAIN!

Personally, I am not obsessed with J. Law like everyone else. With that said, I do understand her appeal. She’s a cute girl with a pretty great personality, who knows when to laugh at herself.

Jennifer Lawrence Trips Again At The Oscars

Let’s just hope that she can begin to master the art of wearing a gown one day….lol

4) The Academy for not having Leonardo DiCaprio‘s back.

After being nominated 4 times, it’s such a shame that Leo’s never won an Oscar.

I did not see Dallas Buyers Club, but I did watch Matthew McConaughey’s transformation and have no problem with him taking home a Best Actor trophy. I just want Leo to WIN!

Anyways…I’m pretty sure Leo will be nominated for 4 more Oscars over the next few years. Maybe he will win then…

Side note: Can we talk about Matthew McConaughey’s acceptance speech?????

Watch here —-> Matthew McConaughey’s Oscar Acceptance Speech

He seriously lost me with this one, but at least he’s still cute. 🙂 lol

5) Jennifer Aniston for not having Brad Pitt‘s babies.

While watching the Oscars last night, all I could think about was how good Brad Pitt looked.

He looked good when he participated in Ellen’s Oscar selfie (top center behind big-head Bradley Cooper lol).

He looked good when he took a slice of pizza and when he gave Ellen money for the pizza.

He looked good when he clapped for Lupita’s win.

He looked good when he won his own Oscar for 12 Years A Slave.

He just looked good!

All I can say is that Angelina won that one. lol

BTWS, another guy that looked good last night was Jared Leto.

Why Can’t We All Be Fantastic???

Okay, I’m back and let’s hope that I can keep up this new run much longer than the last. Time to get it!

1) Comic fans for not learning their lesson.

People-Michael B Jordan

Last week, it was announced that Fruitvale Station’s Michael B. Jordan would play the Human Torch in the new Fantastic 4 movie. After the announcement, a few fans were upset, arguing that having a black Human Torch would stray too far from the comics.

Although I understand where these “comic-book purists” are coming from, I can’t fully support their argument. Hollywood has always played around with comic book characters, and as long as the writers/directors explain how a black Human Torch could be related to a white Invisible Woman, we have absolutely nothing to worry about. Not to mention, the last Fantastic 4 movies had a more “accurate” casting and were still garbage…Therefore, congrats to Michael B. Jordan on the role. I’m sure he’ll knock it out of the park and shut everyone up for a long time to come.

2) Justin Bieber for being an absolute train wreck.

With all of the news that’s out about him, Justin Bieber has become one of the biggest train wrecks since Lindsay Lohan…

I used to really root for him, but then I realized that I don’t care about him as much as I did Lindsay. With that said, it would be tragic for another talented star to fall from the Hollywood skies.

p.s. If anyone still cares about Bieber’s music, feel free to listen to his new song here  —> Justin Bieber’s Broken

3) Teen Mom stars for just being absolute messes.

Over the weekend, I got caught up on the young parents from Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2. Sometimes when I watch these shows and their specials, I am actually proud of the young parents and everything that they have accomplished since having children in high school. However, there have always been a few less than stellar seeds (i.e. Farrah Abraham, Jenelle Evans, and Adam Lind) on the shows. See below –

Farrah Abraham

While on Teen Mom, Farrah, though annoying a lot of the time, seemed to be a really good mother. Even today, she’s managed to capitalize on the success of the show and buy a gorgeous house for her and her daughter. Unfortunately, it’s Farrah’s sex tape and narcissistic attitude that put her on this list.

Jenelle Evans

Jenelle Evans has always been a mess, and it’s pretty hard for any Teen Mom 2 fan to root for her. After being arrested multiple times for drug possession (Jenelle is a recovering heroine user), one would think that this mom would start focusing a little bit more on just herself. Instead, Jenelle has decided to have another baby with her new boyfriend…

Read all about Jenelle’s decision here – Jenelle Evans Pregnant

For those of you who don’t know, Jenelle has never had much luck with men. Several of her boyfriends have been arrested and have abused drugs…

Adam Lind

Like Jenelle, Adam has always been a hot mess. He continues to stay in the news for his misbehaviors.

Read more here —Teen Mom 2’s Adam Lind Crashes Car Into Elderly Woman

Luckily, it sounds like everyone will be okay. What an absolute mess…

From Bieber To The Grammys

Just when I thought things were getting better in the entertainment industry, Bieber and the Grammys happened….Let’s get it!

1) Justin Bieber for getting arrested.

Last week, Bieber finally got arrested on suspicion of drag racing and driving under the influence in Miami. Bieber is clearly out of control, and I am very grateful for his arrest. However, all of this talk about the potential deportation of the Canadian singer is making me sad. Can’t we just give him probation, throw him into rehab, and wish for the best until he messes up again???

ImageBTWs…While I’m blogging about Bieber, he’s enjoying some Panamanian sun with his new boo, Chantel Jeffries. Must be nice to just jet off after being arrested…

2) Apollo Nida for being an idiot.

Nida, the husband of Phaedra Parks on Real Housewives of Atlanta, has been charged with identity theft.

Read the full story on TMZ here –> Apollo Nida Charged With Massive Identity Theft

I just don’t understand how someone could be SO dumb. If you watch Housewives of Atlanta, Nida has never seemed like the brightest star in the sky, but to have him do this is just a mess. As much as I don’t want this to be true (Apollo has two young sons), I don’t think there’s much of a future for the reality star…

3) Bow Wow for being the subject of rumors.

Several days ago, rumor had it that rapper Bow Wow had been fired from BET’s 106 & Park for charging thousands of dollars in child support to a company card.

Read the full story on E! News  —> Bow Wow Has Not Been Fired From 106 and Park

As much as I wanted this rumor to be true for my own personal enjoyment (yes, I know I’m mean), it’s not. What is true, however, is that Bow Wow has had financial problems and is working as a BET host to rebuild his net worth.

After all of his success,  how is he only worth 300K?…A mess.

4) The Grammys for just being a mess.

56th GRAMMY Awards - Show

Am I the only one that was underwhelmed by last night’s Grammys? With the exception of a couple performances (i.e. Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar with Imagine Dragons) and some amazing red carpet looks (i.e. Colbie Caillat and Madonna), I didn’t really care for the awards show. In fact, the show has left me with a number of unanswered questions…

1) How did Robin Thicke not win a single Grammy for Blurred Lines?

2) How did Alicia Keys win a Grammy for anything?

3) How did Macklemore and Ryan Lewis beat out Kendrick Lamar in every rap category?

4) Who is Snarky Puppy?

5) Why was Katy Perry even nominated?

Sigh…I could go on forever, but I won’t because I know that in a few weeks the Oscars will confuse me just as much….

p.s. I know that Ciara made this list last week for her baby mama status, but the girl looks good!

56th GRAMMY Awards - Red Carpet

When I’m pregnant, I hope that I can look just as stunning. 🙂
