It’s been two weeks since my last post. With all of the Black Lives Matter protests, hate crimes, and terrorism going on, I really didn’t feel like it was appropriate to blog about celebrities. I also didn’t want this blog to become a political nightmare filled with my frustrations, so alas, I waited. I waited for the perfect inspiration, and now I have it.
Let’s get it!
Hot Mess #1: Taylor Swift for being a fraud
Last night, I watched the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Per usual, it was reality trash at its finest.
A large theme throughout the show was how the media vilified Kanye West after the release of his song “Famous” and its music video. In the song, Kanye says “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous,” referencing the 2009 Taylor Swift drama at the VMAs.
After the song’s release, Taylor acted ultra offended by both the lyrics and video. Luckily, we have Kim Kardashian to set the story straight. Kim stood by her man, claiming that she had recorded evidence that proved Taylor was actually aware of the song all along.
Sadly, I went straight to bed right after Keeping Up and missed the gloriousness that was Kim K.’s Snapchat. Apparently, Kim snapped several clips of Kanye talking to Taylor Swift about his song and ultimately getting her approval….Smdh

According to TMZ, Taylor is now considering taking legal action against Kimye for the leaked video (it’s illegal to record someone in the state of California without their permission). Personally, I hope Taylor doesn’t take legal action. Legal action won’t solve anything, just make her look even worse…

Hot Mess #2: Tom Hiddleston for dating Taylor Swift
Let me just say that I LOVE Tom Hiddleston, but I feel like he’s depreciating in value the longer he dates Swift. Before, he was this tall, mysterious Brit. Now, he’s just another one of Taylor’s boy toys…
I’m not sure if he’s being considered for the new James Bond role or not, but if he is, he should bail on Taylor’s messiness soon. He can also burn that t-shirt from July 4th. #gross
Hot Mess #3: Wendy Williams for her comments about HBCUs
Last week, Wendy Williams received major backlash when she denounced historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and the NAACP on her daytime talkshow. Like, who does that?
Anyways…Due to her comments, Wendy lost Chevrolet as a major sponsor and had to invite TV One journalist, Roland Martin, to her show for some serious damage control.

I love Wendy for her big mouth and sometimes childish viewpoints, but hopefully she has learned to be a little smarter.
Stick to stories about Kimye, Wendy. Leave racial issues to the real journalists…
Hot Mess #4: Stephen Colbert for hijacking the podium at the RNC
There’s no question that the funniest story today is the Kimye vs. Taylor Swift feud, but Stephen Colbert also provided some much needed entertainment when he crashed the Republican National Convention. Dressed in a Hunger Games inspired costume, Colbert announced, “[Donald Trump] has formed an alliance with Indiana Governor Mike Pence. It is my honor to hereby launch and begin the 2016 Republican hungry for power games.”

Whether you found Colbert’s joke funny or not, you have to admit that it was pretty ballsy…
Honestly, I just want to say that I am so grateful for the messiness this past week. Things have been a little too heavy and I’m glad that we have something funny in the media again. Thank you, Kimye. Thank you.
